Surface water drainage replacement project at a school in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

There was a displaced pipe, with near a 100% blockage picked up in a CCTV survey of the drainage network.

We were instructed to excavate down on the displaced pipe, assess the extent of the issue, then replace with new pipework.

Due to its close proximity to the existing catch pit we renewed the pipe directly into the catch pit from a clean end of the existing pipe, installing two sections as rocker pipes.

Excavation, surplus removal, pipe replacement, back fill, and reinstatement all carried out in house (we were requested to not install bitumen overbanding on the joints as it’s a primary school).
