New Vehicle Entrance – Brackley, Northamptonshire

This is a new vehicle access we have installed in a village near Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Built to Northamptonshire council standards and specifications.

We removed the old stone access, regraded the levels to suit the clients requirements. Then laid new straight and radius kerbs including highway demarcation kerbs. Then we laid a layer of DPM, installed new reinforcement mesh, then laid a new concrete surface with a brushed finish and a bull nose floated edge.

On these type entrances we install a new asphalt / tarmac section to the tie in detail at the front of the entrance with a bitumen overbanding so that the new entrance stands out and gives the entrance a tidy look.
